Kevin Minnelli, CEO & Founder
Kevin Minnelli is a Certified Project Manager Professional (PMP) with over 20 years of IT management and marketing experience and holds a Masters of Science from Johns Hopkins University. Prior to founding Eruptr, he worked as a consultant with Resonate Networks, an ad network in Alexandria Virginia which was formed by DDC Advocacy. His role with Resonate touched everything from campaign management and optimization to redesigning internal processes within the ad serving platform. Before Resonate, he was a senior project manager and manager of online advertising operations for Revolution Health, a Steve Case start-up in Washington DC, where he successfully designed and managed the largest health network on the web. In the past he also managed the Walt Disney online and offline marketing database, worked and successfully consulted for: USinternetworking, The National Institutes of Health, General Electric, Thomson Reuters, Citibank and Merrill Lynch. His vast consulting experiences and development and management of systems make him an excellent choice to design and manage Eruptr’s operation and optimization systems.
J.K. Lloyd, President & Founder
J.K. has over 10 years of experience helping hospitals implement online marketing strategies and campaigns that increase awareness, patient acquisition and contribution margins. Prior to co-founding Eruptr, J.K. was one of the first employees of RevolutionHealth.com (now Everyday Health), an online site envisioned by Steve Case, the co-founder of AOL. J.K. was instrumental in creating and spearheading a hospital advertising vertical and developing relationships across the country. The internet is the fastest growing medium for targeting patients and J.K. is committed to serving care providers to achieve marketing goals and increase ROI.
Joel Cessna, Vice President of Sales
Joel has over 6 years of experience in working with hospital marketing departments on their digital strategies which lead to patient acquisition and measurement. Prior to joining the Eruptr team in January of 2015, Joel was an integral part of launching the Medicom Health Interactive line of Health Profilers where he served as VP of Sales and Marketing. Joel enjoys working closely with hospital marketing departments and helping them achieve their digital marketing goals.
Melissa Placzkowski, Director of Operations
Melissa brings 10+ years of hospital and health system marketing to the table. Prior to joining Eruptr, she worked for Centegra Health System, a suburban Chicagoland healthcare provider for over 7 years. Melissa held a variety of critical roles related to digital marketing throughout her career – her roles and responsibilities included graphic design, event planning, coordinating digital and traditional marketing efforts both internally and externally, managing 14+ system websites as well as leading website overhauls and launches.
Melissa received her BA at Monmouth College, in Monmouth, IL and graduated with honors. By double majoring in International Business and Economics and minoring in art, she quickly got a thirst for knowledge, travel, and creative design. After studying Economics in Paris, her passion for business also grew. Her language experience includes French and Spanish.
Melissa has also received two certifications from the Illinois Institute of Art in Digital Graphic Design and Image Manipulation & Design. She lives near Rockford, Illinois, about an hour and a half northwest of Chicago with her husband and two rescued greyhounds – Sophie and Walter. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, learning about healthy nutrition, working on her Etsy shop, organic gardening and volunteering with her greyhound rescue group.
Melissa is also Google Adwords Certified.
Jennifer O’Meara, Digital Marketing Manager
Jen brings nearly a decade of healthcare marketing experience to Eruptr. Prior to joining our team, Jen served as marketing manager for Holy Redeemer Health System in suburban Philadelphia where she managed all branding efforts—both digital and non-digital—across their entire spectrum of care. One of her responsibilities included the development and maintenance of three distinct websites for the health system—a job that utilized her vast attention to detail and relationship-building skills to the fullest.
Jen graduated from Penn State University and is a Nittany Lion through and through. She is very active in her church, and is a member of its vestry, serving as the marketing/outreach coordinator.
She lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with her husband, and her best furry friend—her beloved Boston Terrier, April. When she’s not generating impressive results from her marketing efforts, Jen enjoys traveling, discovering new books, photography, spending time with family and friends, and trying new foods. Her latest venture? Grilled octopus.

Steve Mosack, Digital Marketing Specialist
Steve Mosack joins Eruptr with over 10 years of experience in the digital marketing industry. Steve entered the healthcare sector while working for Medicom Health Interactive where he took his customer-centric approach and helped some of the biggest hospitals in the country utilize a digital strategy which featured health assessments. Prior to working with Medicom, Steve spent many years honing his digital marketing skills as an analyst with PMX Agency, specializing in customer acquisition, media planning and marketing campaign execution. While working with some of the biggest retailers, publishers, and fundraisers in the country, Steve has brought this valuable, well-rounded experience with him as he thinks about your future marketing goals. Steve holds certifications in Google AdWords & Analytics, and Hubspot Inbound Marketing.
Emma Turner, Digital Marketing Specialist
As a Digital Marketing Specialist, Emma works with a great team of individuals looking to increase the online presence of their healthcare clients. With a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, she has 5 years of marketing experience, 4 of which were spent in a healthcare system. Emma oversaw and executed tactical marketing campaigns for Centegra Health System. She has been responsible for strategic website management and digital marketing initiatives for SEO, SEM, display and remarketing. Emma has a broad range of social media experience and is Google AdWords certified.
Erin Carswell, Digital Marketing Specialist
Growing up most of Erin’s family members worked in the healthcare field, which drove an affinity for helping people and the industry as a whole. However, she knew that she did not want to be around blood and guts. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in marketing from West Virginia University she decided to combine both of her passions. She started her career in NYC and then spent more than three years developing digital strategies for Geisinger Health System in Danville, PA. Erin believes it’s important for hospitals and health systems to have a relevant digital presence because it’s more often that a patient’s first “interaction” with them is through a Google search or a social media interaction. For Erin, patient acquisition and measuring ROI is the most exciting part about healthcare digital marketing. She is Google AdWords Certified and is currently pursuing an MBA.
Erin lives in Danville, PA with her husband Will and golden retriever, Reagan. She is involved in her community’s business alliance and church’s technology committee. Erin enjoys listening to music, running and working out. One of her favorite pastimes is “Netflix and chill.”
Erich Johanning, Digital Marketing Specialist
Erich starts his career in the advertising industry 13+ years ago. He gave his first steps in OMNICOM Group, working in BBDO. With the time he became the media planner of important brands like Pepsico, Taco Bell and a local Bank in Costa Rica. After that, visioning that the future of advertising was digital, he moved to a marketing company to specialized in web positioning, analytics and paid search. Erich has been with Eruptr for over 5 years now, growing together with the company.
Erich graduated in Marketing Communications at the Latin University in Costa Rica. He speaks both English and Spanish.
Erich currently lives in San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica, with his wife, his little daughter and a 10 years old dachshund. He enjoys traveling, doing Crossfit, and making trips to the beach or the mountain.
Erich is also Google Adwords Certified.
